There are few things worth the money these days. These certainly are. I never realized how goofy the original backlit screens are, until I used this SP with the IPS screen. The usb charging is great if you’re like me and are worried about your investment - in case your oem charger from eBay no longer works, you can still use your modded gameboy. The link cable port is functional, so I can complete the gen 3 Pokédex’s I never finished as a kid in 05. But best of all, Jay is responsive. I received this and was concerned that the battery indicator wasnt functioning properly - there was nothing wrong with the battery, just that the indicator flashed between green and red seemingly at random. Jay fixed it, no extra charge. Having responsive customer care is what I appreciate - especially with the money you will spend to relive some childhood treasures. My first attempt at buying an SP from eBay was so-so: functional, but some issues. Annoying at $80 but bearable. Buying an SP from DK was terrible: not functional, and getting my refund was painful. Investing in the modded SP from Jay was as pleasant as pleasant can be. I appreciate a seller who stands by their work and makes things right, no matter how trivial. I will be buying more from Jay. Hi I wasn't sure how to explain this sp since it's not exactly a Gangar mod. I reached out originally to Jayboymodz to see if they could make me a custom Kirby design Gameboy Sp and surely enough they said they can! They just said to pick one of the mods from the Collector's Series category and put in that I wanted the Kirby Design mod in the notes section. I was so excited and it surely was a long wait for it to get here, but it was well worth it! It plays smoothly. Thank you Jayboymodz for making and putting together my wonderful little gaming hand-held. I appreciate the time and dedication you put into the craft and I'll definitely recommend your shop to others! Thank you!

10/10 it's absolutely amazing I love everything about it I got a few games for it today and have been playing my original Pokemon gold from my childhood that I had to get the battery replaced in it but that's okay with me.

Was well done and arrived quickly. The packaging was good too. This may have been me just not reading correctly or missing something but if you get the c charger replacement it doesn’t replace the old game boy charger, instead it gets added to it. Still a plus but I would have preferred it on the back. Still amazing and perfect
